Armada Games – The Studio

Armada Games: the Studio

As many of you have noticed, the old Paint Room has undergone a significant change. While it is not yet complete, it is time to fill you in on what is going on and why.

Some of the improvements made over the last few months have been the addition of a new door and window, sound dampening and a general cleaning of the room. These changes were made with the specific intent of making the space a studio. A big thank you to one of our newest staff members Ryan who helped make this happen.

To help facilitate the progress for this plan, in the last month, a few of our Guild Ball Players have started recording a Podcast from that room, hosted here at This group has been integral in testing the room’s capabilities to make sure it would be as good as possible a space to use for recording.

The new studio will be used to produce a better quality audio and video product than could have been done previously. To produce a quality product, we have procured all the necessary equipment. Look forward to seeing and hearing stuff for a variety of games, not just Guildball. All games recorded in The Studio will be published to our YouTube channel at We will be expanding the games recorded to include (listed alphabetically, not in order of priority):

  • Board Games
  • Dungeons and Dragons
  • Heroes of the Autari Cluster
  • Painting / Modeling
  • Pathfinder
  • Star Wars: Armada
  • Star Wars: Imperial Assault
  • Star Wars: X-Wing
  • Warhammer 40k
  • Warmachine / Hordes

More information will be out in the coming months as we aggressively expand the utility of The Studio for audio / visual recording. There is a lot planned with this room, but we must take it slowly to make sure we can handle the added workload and maintain a high production value.

Thank you for your patience with this process.

As always, if you have feedback on any aspect of the store, please feel free to speak to Aaron, Mike, or Michael.
