Warhammer Fantasy Escalation League Starts: January 11, 2010 to run through March 7, 2010. The new Skaven models and army book have arrived at Armada. New Clanrats, Doomwheel and Stormvermin have invaded the shelves of Armada. The new Skaven Armybook is also readily available. These items will be available for sale Saturday November 7.

Warhammer 40k Escalation leagues are designed to help introduce new players to the game and also help beginning players understand how the game system works and allow them to try out new unit in an actual game environment by proxy before they spend a ton of money on figures they wont end up using in the long run. Escalation Leagues are designed to run between 4 and 8 weeks starting at a relatively low points value while slowly increasing to a higher level at the end of the League duration. Much like other game leagues only a certain amount of scoring game are allowed per scoring week, at the end of that week the points are totalled and posted determining the standings for the current week. Once all the weeks have been completed a pre-determined amount of top placing players are invited to participate in a final tournament to determine the final League standings and the placing player that will receive prizes.
