The Art of Warhammer:
WARNING: This article is about strategy and winning the game. I will not take cheesiness or game fluff into account. Last Updated (Thursday, 14 January 2010 20:45) 40K Witch Hunter Tactica I would like to start this tactica by stating that this is the army I play and in my opinion the best imperial army out there, despite the fact it is a 3rd edition codex. This article is broken down into four parts. The first is general background information about the army including the use of faith points and how the army works as a whole. The second is an individual breakdown of each unit and why you should or should not take it. The third section is how this army deals with specific threats from other 40K armies, and the last section gives some sample army lists at some common point levels. So sit back and enjoy reading about the inquisition, and more importantly about the Sisters of Battle. With the broad success of the Warhammer 40k Escalation Leagues and the growing interest in Fantasy at the shop, the time seems right to bring the fun and prizes of Escalation Leagues to the Fantasy players. For those unfamiliar with the game, Warhammer Fantasy is a strategy table top game featuring armies made up of classical fantasy races like Elves, Orc, Dwarves, and Deamons. Each figure costs a certain amount of point and each battle has a point limit to balance the battling armies. An Escalation League is an eight week tournament that starts battles at a low point level and allows players to build their armies a little every week.
