Friday night was a good turn out of 26 players, with Worlds in full force in Italy and Thanksgiving coming up. This Standard Constructed was a 4 round with cut to Top 8 single elimination bracket. This week Jund was not a prevalent as it was in the last 2 weeks with only 3 of the top 8 Decks being Jund.

Hello fellow Armada Gamers! This is Brennan DeCandio, one of the many judges that come to Armada Games on a regular basis and I have been given the honor to write articles for the Armada Games viewers just as you may have seen on various other sites. We here in Tampa are very lucky compared to most of the Magic community in this country as we have a strong player and judge base locally. We actually have three FNM’s! That’s insane! While I enjoy and embrace all formats known to magic I’m going to focus on our new Standard Metagame for this one. First Standard Constructed of November showed some promise being that Zendikar has only been released for 1 month. Last night we started out with 37 players in the Standard constructed Magic event, going 5 rounds with cut to top 8. Last Updated (Thursday, 14 January 2010 18:48)
For the rest of November Zendikar draft prices will be lowered to $12 per player. This is due to Zendikar being more readily available at this time. Draft schedule for November remains the same. Tuesday at 7:00pm. Fridays at 3:00pm and 9:30pm. We are continuing the Magic event give aways. Play in a Magic the Gathering tournament at the store and get an entry to the give away.
