Entry Fee: $10 or 6 canned goods
Who: We will be donating all proceeds and food raised by this event to Metropolitan Ministries.
What: This will be a 4 round, 35 point steam roller style event, with a twist. For a small fee players may purchase various bonuses in the game. Each player will need to have two 35 point lists and the models on hand to field them. Different Warcaster / Warlock for each list. No Proxies.
Special: Five Star Pizza is providing lunch to participants. Your entry and bonuses are going to feed hungry people, and Five Star Pizza is going to feed you.
The following is a list of "Cheats" that a player can buy, limited to one of each, per turn.
$1.00 / 1 canned good: You may buy a reroll.
$2.00 / 1 canned good: You may force your opponent to re-roll.
$1.00 / 1 canned good: Buys a crit-effect
$5.00 / 3 canned goods: Buys an additional feat (ONLY ONCE PER GAME)
$1.00 / 1 canned good: Per inch for a super feat ( you may extend the range of your feat by the number of inches purchased.
$1.00 / 1 canned good: Buys "this model/unit gains advance deployment
$3.00 / 2 canned goods: Buys "this model/unit gains pathfinder till end of turn.
$2.00 / 1 canned good: Buys "gain an additional damage or attack die"
$1.00 / 1 canned good: Per inch up to a maximum of three inches gains "Model/unit gains "x" movement untill end of turn."
$5.00 / 3 canned goods: Buys "return a destroyed warjack/warbeast to the table within three inches of the caster."
The following cheat may be purchased at registration and applies to both lists.
$2.00 / 1 canned good: Per point over the army point cap to a max of 5 points.
Prizes: The satisfaction of knowing your doing something good for someone who can't pay you back in any way but thanks... oh, and Armada Games is putting together a $50 store credit package. In addition, the first place player will receive a Farrow Army supplied by Press Ganger Gabrial Caban.
A word on canned goods: $1 - $1.50 value canned goods, not expired.
Anyone can come and donate for this event, even if your not playing in it. Metropolitan Ministries will have the donation box on hand from Tuesday the 1st until Tuesday the 8th.
